Turk PM arrives in Islamabad

PM Nawaz Shairf termed the Turk Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s visit to Pakistan a landmark in bilateral relations while speaking at Erdogan’s arrival in Islamabad.

Talking at a press conference , PM Sharif and PM Erdogan announced on reaching an agreement to promote trade between the two countries

PM Sharif expressed his hopes that the economic framework will significantly contribute to trade facilitation between the two nations.

On his arrival earlier in Tuesday, Erdogan was greeted by the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at his residency. A guard of honour was presented to the Turk PM.

The two PMs exchanged their views on bilateral relations between Pakistan and Turkey as well as the trade ties between the two nations. A delegation of Turk traders also accompanied Turk PM.

According to the foreign office statement on Monday, Turkey is making investment in the energy and infrastructure sectors in Pakistan for  both the countries will be signing four different memorandum of understanding (MoU).

Erdogan arrived in Lahore yesterday where he visited Aitchison College, a business forum and  visited the Huzoori Bagh to offer Fateha at the mausoleum of Allama Iqbal.
