Two bogies of the Karachi-bound train, Taizgam Express, caught fire on Monday morning, however, after two-hours of efforts the firefighters succeeded in extinguishing the blaze.
According to media report, the baggage of several passengers gutted in the blaze but all passengers remained unharmed.
The fire erupted in a bogie of the train, which engulfed another bogie, as a result of which the railway traffic suspended on the track. The train traffic, however, restored after the firefighters extinguished fire and the train later resumed its journey to Karachi.
