Edexcel to introduce modern trends of education

Edexcel International organised a two-day training workshop in capital to equip the teachers with international trends of primary education. As many as 150 teachers of primary sections of the leading schools participated.

The internationally acclaimed education trainers from UK namely Chandani Deepika Peris, De Silva Wijewickrama Ekanayake and Gebalange Priyani Jayasekera imparted skill-development training to the teachers on the modern trends of education. The training programs enabled the teachers to understand the best practices adopted by the teachers in the developed world.

The teachers would replicate the best practices to transfer the skill to young students of aged between 3-6 years.

Considering in mind the limited exposure of teachers about the international education methods, Edexcel launched these training programs which will enable teachers to deliver lectures in a friendly atmosphere.

The seminar was focused on introduction to the subject, scope, division of the syllabus, schemes of work, effective teaching approaches, optimum use of resources, exam preparation, understanding scheme and helpful exam tips for students.
