A security guard was murdered by robbers in a robbery attempt on Saturday in WAPDA Town police precincts on Saturday.
As per details, the robbers entered the house of Shahzad, a resident of P1 WAPDA Town. Shahzad got a chance to call and inform the security guards about the robbery.
The guards reached at the spot and exchanged fire with the robbers in which one security guard named Yousaf got injured badly and the robbers escaped with valuables.
Later, Yousaf was shifted to Jinnah Hospital where he couldn’t sustain injuries.
In another report, a robbery took place in the house of Azam, resident of Ghari Shahu.
As per details, the robbers entered the house forcibly, took the family hostage and escaped with Rs 400,000 cash, 15 tolas of gold, prize bonds worth Rs 250,000 and other valuables.
