Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Rashad Mehmood were awarded the prestigious Nishan-e-Imtiaz, highest civil award, on Friday.
President Mamnoon Husain conferred the award to the two top military officials in a ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, officials of army, navy and federal minister also attended the auspicious ceremony.
