The continued loss of dollar against rupee made a mark on Wednesday in interbank market as it came down to Rs107 after about two months.

The exporters are unloading their stocks of dollars in the market fearing further decline indicated by the market trends.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar had recently advised the investors to sell their dollars to avoid loss as the dollar was expected to fall soon. The dollar was continually losing ground and made a record fall by 57 paisa to come down to Rs 106.50 on Wednesday. The fall has made the dollar cheaper by Rs 2 in the interbank.

Rupee value has also been stabilized by the $600 million loan extended by the commercial bank to the government for international payments of crude imports.
