Male SHO appointed in Islamabad Women Police Station
A male policeman has been appointed as station house officer (SHO) in capital’s Women Police Station.
Following the departure of Women Police Station SHO Sadaf Basharat to Canada, Islamabad SSP has appointed Sub Inspector Muhammad Ashfaq as SHO of Women Police Station instead of appointing a woman inspector or sub inspector.
Sources said there were several woman sub inspectors and inspectors serving in Islamabad Police, but a male inspector has been inducted as SHO.
The citizens have voiced strong protest against this act and demanded for immediate replacement of male SHO by a woman SHO in Women Police Station.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT? AFTER ALL WE HAVE ILLITRATE MNAs MPAs and perhaps Senators. All female MNAs sit next to male MNAs.We have a female heading the latest loan shark project and so on. We unnecessarily try and destabilise a sound Government.
