At least five persons were injured in an oil tanker explosion at Hatri Bypass on Saturday.
According to the area police, the incident occurred when the oil tanker’s tank was being repaired at a local welding shop.
The injured men include 60-year-old Muhammad Ali Bhayo, 30-year old Mohammed Usman, 21-year-old Mohammad Hussein Gujjar, 20-year-old Ikram Ali and 20-year-old Tanveer Iqbal.
One person received serious and reported to be in critical condition that is why he was shifted to Karachi while the other four injured persons are under treatment at the Civil Hospital Hyderabad.
While an elderly man Bhayo is undergoing a surgery at the hospital.
According to police sources, the incident occurred due to the negligence of both parties, the welding shop and tanker driver.
