S Arabia donates relief goods quake affectees

The government of Saudi Arabia donated humanitarian relief assistance to the government of Pakistan in a simple ceremony on Friday for expressing solidarity with the affectees of Balochistan earthquake in districts Awaran and Kech.

The humanitarian relief aid comprised of 1,000 tents and 5,000 blankets. The relief items were handed over by Saudi Ambassador Dr Adbul Aziz Al-Ghadeer to Chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Major General Muhammad Saeed Aleem.

On this occasion, Dr Abdul Aziz Al-Ghadeer expressed sorrow over the destruction and loss of lives caused by the earthquake and reiterated the resolve of his government to stand by the people of Pakistan. The chairman thanked the ambassador for the support and assistance rendered by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the people of Pakistan.
