Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that the federal government has no threat from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

He expressed these views while talking to media outside the Punjab assembly on Saturday. Rana Sanaullah disclosed that Imran Khan took part in a dinner the other day wherein the US and NATO representatives were also present.

Talking about the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, the minister alleged that bad governance and corruption reigned there, however, the provincial government wanted others to be held responsible of its failure.

“Imran Khan is befooling masses,” he said. To a question about Mullah Fazalullah’s presence in Pakistan, Rana Sanaullah advised the PTI and the Jamat-e-Islami to meet Mullah Fazalullah if he was in Pakistan. Both the parties (PTI and JI) have commonality in interests.

The PML-N stalwart said that decision of appointment of high court judges was one-sided. “Balance among parliament, government and judiciary is needed in order to bring better people through consultation,” he opined.

Talking about the National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) DG, the minister said Tariq Malik had visited Lahore on Monday but he did not hold discussions with him.
