Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif and former COAS general (r) Ashfaq Pervez Kayani praised the services of Pakistan Army and termed it as the best among forces of the world.
“We are proud to be chief of the world’s best army, it will continue serving for solution of country’s problems,” both the generals reiterated.
According to a private TV channel, Army Chief General Raheel Sharif endorsed the services of general (r) Kayani for the armed forces and said the army had achieved many successes in his era.
He also reiterated to follow in the footsteps of Kayani to lead the Pakistan army and also felicitated the sacrifices rendered by army personnel in war on terror.
“Martyrs of army are shining stars of masses, country and army,” he mentioned.
In his last massage, former COAS general Ashfaq Pervez Kayani said that he was proud to lead the world’s best army for the six years.
He also thanked his comrades over helping in odd times during his service and advised them to keep patience and passion of sacrifice to achieve more success in professional life, Kayani added.

Pervez Kayani wasa general like Colin Powell or Shasliekeve, or at least he followed their style which was patience and passion. Pervez Musharraf was general who tried to followed Kamal Atta Turk and Gamal Abdal Nasser. Now, lets see who the new General will follow. Time will tell.
