At least 39 suspects were rounded up during the joint targeted operations by the Rangers and Police in different parts of the metropolis during the last 24 hours.
Rangers conducted raids in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Natha Khan Goth, Baldia Town, Orangi Town, Lyari and other areas during which 37 suspects were arrested.
While in Machar Colony area, one suspect was arrested but two escaped after an encounter with the police. The arrested suspect was identified as Abdullah, wanted in several cases.
Likewise, in Mehmoodabad, police raided a house on inkling of an arrested accused, and arrested a man from which two kilograms of heroin and weapons were recovered.
