Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Saturday said that blasts, violence in Karachi and other parts of Sindh are aimed at failing the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) led provincial government.
Talking to media persons, Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that the law and order situation in internal Sindh has improved a little but position in Hyderabad is still not satisfactory for which steps were being taken.
He expressed hope that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will succeed in the upcoming local bodies (LB) polls across Sindh with a clear margin.
The chief minister pointed out that earlier victims felt themselves insecure to contact the police for seeking justice due to threats and apprehensions but now they have come of the situation and feel secure to lodge FIR against any injustice.
Qaim Ali Shah expressed deep sense of grief over loss of precious lives and sympathies for the bereaved families of Ancholi blast which took nine people’s lives besides leaving more than 40 others injured.
He also assured financial assistance to the heirs of the victims of the blast and best medical treatment to the injured on the behalf of provincial government.
