Inflation still continues to be the biggest problem that Pakistan is facing. The inflation rate was recorded at 9.08 percent in Pakistan in October of 2013. I want to sketch the interest of the authorities that for the last five years the prices of things of daily use have been rising. The revenue of common people does not match the rise in prices. Inflation is one of the major obstacles in the way of expansion of an economy.
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has advised Pakistan that the present high rate of inflation threatens to erode gains made in poverty lessening in the current past by approaching more people below the poverty line.
There are suggestions to hold the rising of inflation in Pakistan.1. To begin with the newest methods of manufacturing in factories and on farms should be used to increase industrial and farming production. 2. The supply of the things produced should be rapid and proper. 3. The government and social organisations should force the shopkeepers to sell goods at accurate and approved prices. 4. We should take steps to check our rising population. If our population continues to rise at the present rate, it will be very difficult to provide commodities to all the people in proper quantities. The government should increase its tax net. I request the government of Pakistan to solve this crisis as soon as possible.
