KPK govt yet to pay 777 million to centre: Abid Sher Ali

The State minister for water and Power, Abid Sher Ali has said that
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has liabilities of Rs. 777.37 million, under the head of payment of bills.

In a tweet posted on a social website by the state minister said that water releases from Terbela dams is 45000 Cusecs, which is generating 1218 megawatt electricity, Mangla dam water release is 29000 Cusecs and power generation is 745 MW.

Abid Sher Ali stated that Gazi Brotha is generating 809 MW and Cashma release is 56000 Cusecs with 142 MW power generations.

The State Minister for Water and power further added that power generation in the country is 9750 megawatt and through hydel resources power generation is 3098 MW.

Thermal resources power generation is 1575 MW and Independent power producers generating 5077 MW.
