Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said on Tuesday that the drone strikes are a serious issue and the government should take steps to resolve it.

Speaking in the National Assembly he said, though the Taliban had lost trust in dialogue, but they wanted to hold talks under pressure from different tribes.

Sheikh Rashid said the situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa would affect all the political parties across the country.

There is a need to take all the stakeholders on board to make the dialogue process successful to restore peace in the country, he added.
