PTI Central Information Secretary Shireen Mazari on Thursday said it was unfortunate that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif failed to categorically tell US President Barack Obama that drone strikes must stop.
“Instead all the prime minister could muster before Obama was to ‘urge’ him to halt these illegal strikes which are now being seen as possible war crimes,” she said.
Mazari said the recent Amnesty International report had pointed to the illegal nature of these strikes and stated they could constitute war crimes.
She said Pakistan’s political parties had given a consensual mandate to the federal government, just as they had done to the previous government, to stop the drone strikes. “But neither the previous government nor the present one is prepared to act resolutely to stop these unlawful drone attacks despite their accepted illegality under international law and their brazen violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty.”
as usual non sense from PTI. you can write a letter if you have to agitate or threat a country. Leaders are polite and treat each other with respect if they have to achieve something.
Although not a PMLN supporter. But somebody should really tell these Jokers that Nawaz has done more than what he could; drones' aren't an overnight thing. Untill terrorism exists, drones will exists. If you seriosuly want to put an end to drone; put an end to terrorism. BY HOOK OR CROOK. Stop sucking up to Taliban's and call for firm and resolute action.

Drone attacks need to stop and should be replaced by locating army to control the situation there. PTI's position is absolutely correct and has the support of majority of the population. Nawaz Sharif needs to get smart and start focussing on getting something good done, instead of focussing on money laundering activities with his beloved brother.
PTI are ammatur person party. They no nothing. But NS has not demanded to USA to stop drones. I’m sure. Instead of that what USA demanded NS has to fullfill all those demands. Pakistani people will see soon that Shakil Afridi would be free and we will protect the NATO forces to get out from Afghanistan by pakistan land smoothly.
