ET seeks more evidences on NA 125 poll rigging case

Election Tribunal (ET) calling for more evidences on the petition filed against alleged rigging in constituency National Assembly (NA) 125 has adjourned the hearing of case till November 7. During the hearing, counsel for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Hamid Khan argued that his client has been defeated in polls by rigging. He said ET should decide the case by recounting of votes, verification of thumb impression and seeking the record of election commission (EC). Winning candidate of the constituency Khawaja Saad Rafique argued in court that he has won the election on merit and EC has also issued the notification of his winning, while his rival candidate is putting false allegations against him. ET, dismissing the plea for seeking the record from EC, adjourned the hearing till November 7.
