Federal Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique is often seen recounting his efforts to bring the dying department back on track.
But it seems that he has to put in a little more efforts in saving it from its own employees, especially, when the PR cashier on Tuesday fled with approximately Rs 2 million cash.
The chief booking officer of Pakistan Railways Qaiser Abbas reportedly stole the money collected from bookings of passengers and fled the scene.
According to police sources, raids have been conducted in several areas of the city to capture the accused. However, no arrests have still been made.
