The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has dismissed a case filed against the Oil and Gas Regularity Authority (OGRA) by CNG station owners.
A two-member bench of PHC comprising Chief Justice (CJ) Dost Mohammad and Justice Assadullah Chimkani heard the case filed against OGRA by CNG station owners.
“60 percent of CNG station owners are thieves. The court had ordered disconnection of the illegal CNG connections in Mardan, Kohat and Karak because they could lead to any major accident at any time,” the CJ remarked.
Dismissing the case, the CJ said that if fire erupted due to these connections, fire brigade vehicles of the entire country will remain unsuccessful in preventing the accident.
The CNG owners had argued that they were being given less gas pressure and that it should be increased.
Look at the approach of Justices………."The court had ordered disconnection of the illegal CNG connections in Mardan, Kohat and Karak because they could lead to any major accident at any time,” the CJ remarked
What about legal connections, will there not be any accidents?
Mr. Justice forgot to address the point this case was brought in for.
