The Supreme Court (SC) has adjourned the hearing of appeal plea filed against the high court decision in arms recovery case against Shah Rukh Jatoi till October, 24.
The family members of Shahrukh Jatoi had filed petition in the SC Karachi Registry that investigation officer was changed during the process of investigation and the arms and arms report was also changed.
The case was registered against Shahrukh Jatio for possessing illegal arms was wrong.
The petitioners prayed, we resorted to Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) in this connection but the court rejected our plea. We also approached the high court but it also upheld the decision of a subordinate court. The SC is requested to review the case and issue orders for revocation of the FIA.
The petition was to be heard before a two member bench of SC comprising Justice Anwar Zahir Jamali and Justice Sarmad Jalal Usmani but the counsel for the accused requested the court to adjourn the hearing due to his ailment.
