Awami National Party (ANP) leader Ghulam Ahmad Bilour on Sunday condemned the Peshawar blasts and said people should ask Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan about the series of bomb blasts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

Talking to reporters during a visit to the blast site, he said the PTI

chairman did not even condemn the attacks.

“What change has Imran brought?” he asked.

Scores of people, including women and children, were killed and more than 70 were injured in a blast at Peshawar’s Qissa Khwani Bazaar on Sunday, the third of a series of bomb blasts in the city over the past one week.

Meanwhile, senior ANP leader and former KP information minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that it has become necessary to address the issue of terrorism, either through talks or military operation.

Speaking to reporters at the Qissa Khawani bazaar after the blast, Iftikhar said if the situation was not in control, Peshawar should be sealed and an operation be launched in every street, or else the blasts would continue.

He opposed Imran’s demand for opening a Taliban office and said the PTI government had failed to maintain law and order in the province.
