At least five terrorists were killed as security forces repulsed an attack on a check post in Bannu District on Wednesday.
A soldier was also wounded in the attack. According to details, the terrorists launched a rocket attack on a check post in the Jani Khel area. The attack was repulsed by security forces and killed five terrorists.
One security personnel was also injured in the incident.
Bannu District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been susceptible to terror activities for a long time.
