Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Ameer Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that anti peace forces are behind the Peshawar tragedy as Taliban have not taken responsibility of the suicide blast.
In a statement, he said that the Peshawar bomb blasts should not be attached to Taliban as it would sabotage the peace process. He also said that there is no justification of killing innocent people.
The bomb blast has killed more than 81 people from Christian community in a church during religious ceremonies.
Blaming anti state elements the Maulana said, “Such people have nothing to do with the national interests. Their mission is to ignite chaos in the country for their own vested interests.”
He said that destructive forces want to kill our soldiers and engage the army in war-torn areas in the north of the country. “The attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team and abduction of Chinese engineers are obvious examples of such conspiracies by our enemies,” he added.
Furthermore, he stated that it is high time to probe into the real motives behind such incidents and demanded formation of a judicial commission to investigate into the Peshawar incident.
