Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Governor Sindh, Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan finally ended his short self-exile and arrived in Karachi from Dubai, a week after rumors of his resignation.
There were also reports that Governor Sindh was dismayed for not being taken into confidence over Rangers’ operation in Karachi to curb the violence.
However, after assurances were made by the federal government, he decided to come back and resume his responsibilities.
MQM claimed that the governor is rejoining the office over party chief Altaf Hussain’s directives.
