Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman on Monday said the Peshawar church attack occurred at a time when Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was to present Pakistan’s stance on drone attacks at the United Nations.
“However, now after the attacks, the prime minister’s viewpoint will hold no weight,” Fazl told reporters after arriving in Quetta.
Calling the attack a big tragedy, Fazl said it was aimed at sabotaging peace talks with the Taliban.
He is an hack. He is suppose to be an Allie to the Government. Supporting your Prime Minister is his duty, in regards to Drone attack. This statement does not help the Government.
The reluctant and half-hearted manner in which the Prime Minister talks against drone strikes, even without Peshawar attack, his speech at United Nations would not have had any effect.
