LAHORE – A group of six agronomists namely, Syed Shaukat Ali, Ziaullah, Zeeshan Saqib, Ibraheem, Farukh Azeem and Irfan were warmly received at the Allama Iqbal international Airport, who returned to Pakistan after being trained in China by Star Farms, a sister concern of METRO Cash and Carry, on food safety, food quality and food traceability. These six agronomists were selected last year after a series of interviews, conducted jointly by the Punjab Agriculture Department and Star Farms to get trained in China by Star Farms.
