Installation of barriers on access roads in capital approved

In a bid to ensure foolproof security in the federal capital, Islamabad Development Working Party (IDWP) has approved the installation of barriers on the access roads of the capital at the cost of Rs5.5 million.

The PC-I of the project was approved at a meeting of the IDWP which was presided over by the Chief Commissioners Islamabad Jawad Paul.

The meeting also discussed the project of constructing metal roads on the access rough paths to the highways and the main roads.

The meeting also decided that the matter of construction of the bridge on the Korang Nullah will be forwarded to higher officials with its PC-I, the observations of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and technical report of accidents.
