21 people injured in Sibi blast

At least 21 persons were injured in a remote-controlled bomb blast in Sibi town on Sunday.

According to police, unknown men had planted a 1 kg remote-controlled bomb with a motorcycle and parked it near a local hotel at Nashtar Road which went off.

As a result, 21 people sustained wounds. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical aid. The injured were identified as Saleh Muhammad, Madad Khan, Dad Muhammad, Rizwan Ahmad, Muhammad Malook, Rajib Ali, Amir Bakhsh, Jahanzaib, Sheheryar, Maqsood Ahmad, Abdul Rahim, Amir Hamza, Muhammad Shakir, Muhammad Iqbal, Muhammad Khan, Ahmad Shah, Noor Ahmad and Abdul Raoof.

Police and security forces reached the site and cordoned off the entire area. Further investigations are underway.
