Information Minister, Pervaiz Rashid said that the government is making concerted efforts to maintain peace in the country and the writ of the government would be ensured at all costs.
Talking to a TV channel, he said people have welcomed the government’s action for restoring peace in Karachi.
The Minister said that the law enforcement agencies are arresting the culprits allegedly involved in disturbing peace in the city and exemplary punishments will be given to anti-social elements.
Pervaiz Rasheed said that all the political parties have also supported negotiations with Taliban to establish lasting peace in the country.
