Justice Mushir Alam took oath as a Judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan at a ceremony in Karachi on Friday.
Chief Justice of Pakistan, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, administered the oath.
Justice Mushir Alam has served has Chief Justice Sindh High Court. A senior SHC judge Justice Maqbool Baqar, who was injured in a bomb attack in June this year, has now been appointed as his successor.
