Ogra scam: court extends 3-day physical remand of Sadiq

An accountability court in Islamabad on Tuesday extended three-day physical remand of prime accused in the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) graft case Tauqir Sadiq.  Former chairman Ogra Sadiq appeared before the court. During the hearing, National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) investigator sought extension in physical or former Ogra chairman.  The court asked Sadiq to appear before the court on September 13.  Sadiq is the prime accused of Rs 82 billion scam of issuing new CNG licences, increasing gas tariff and allowing relocation of the functional stations.
