Two security personnel were killed while four sustained injuries in a remote-controlled bomb attack in Dera Bugti.
According to reports, a vehicle carrying security personnel was on a routine patrol in Jaffarabad area of Dera Bugti when the device exploded. Two personnel were killed instantly while four sustained injuries.
The injured were immediately shifted to Dera Bugti Hospital. Two of them are said to be in serious condition.
Security forces cordoned off the area to trace the suspects.
Separately, a person was killed in a landmine blast in Jaffarabad District.
Levies sources said militants had planted a landmine on a road in RD-298 area of Jaffarabad that exploded when a passerby stepped on it.
“As a result of the explosion, the passerby died,” Levies forces said.
The Levies cordoned off the area to arrest the militants.
