People in Bannu on Thursday opened fire on six terrorists and killed one of them while apprehended another and handed him over to police.
According to police, the residents of Haji Anwar Khel area in Bannu signalled six suspected people to stop. However, the accused opened fire on them to which the residents retaliated. One terrorist was killed and other was caught who was later handed over to the police. Rest of the terrorists managed to flee from the scene.
Approximately three kilogrammes of explosives were also seized from them.
Police said the terrorists were in their early teens and a case has been registered against them.
