Pakistan Peoples Party’s Senator Raza Rabbani has resigned from the membership of Judges Appointment Committee (JAC) while Senator Farooq H Naik has replaced him as the member of committee.
As per details, on Friday, Senator Raza Rabbani apologising to his party leadership said, “Since I am practicing in courts as a private lawyer, it is not possible for me to work as a member in a committee where appointment of judges is involved.”
After the resignation of Raza Rabbani, PPP leadership enlisted the name of Senator Farooq H Naik replacing with Rabbani. The PPP has also issued notification of Farooq H Naik’s appointment.
