The flood water released by India is likely to hit Burewala sub-division on Friday.
According to the flood focal person, Ali Anan Qamar, about 53,826 cusecs of floodwater discharge was recorded at Head Islam 50,286 cusecs at Mailsi Siphon, 89,000 cusecs at Head Sulemanki, 95,000 cusecs at Head Ganda Singhwala, 97,000 cusecs at Huryk headworks India and 110,616 cusecs at Ferozpur headworks India.
In Vehari, rescue teams evacuated 408 peoples and 250 cattle from flood-affected areas and rescue operation continued in Basti Lakha. Meanwhile, another two snake-bite victims were brought to THQ hospital Burewala.
