Independence Day Badminton concludes

Mohammad Murtaza Shafi (SWL) & Zulqarnain Haider (HFZ) won the Boys U-15 & U-12 singles event of the Independence Day Punjab (U-12) and (U-15) Boys Badminton Tournament 2013 respectively.

Ahsan Iqbal & Zulqarnain (HFZ) won the Boys U-15 Doubles title, and M. Abdullah Shafi & Munib ur Rehman of Chiniot won the U-12 title.

Syed Naqi Mohsin SVP Pakistan Badminton federation and Saeed Iqbal Khan Treasurer PBF distributed the trophies, certificates and cash award amongst the finalists. Rana Ishtiaq Haneef V.P Punjab Badminton Association announced the U-12 & U-15 Punjab Badminton Championship the month of December this year at Lahore and Javed Iqbal of Dist. Sahiwal announced the same event in the month of November 2013. These events will help to promote the game of badminton at grass route level in Punjab.

In the end Liaqat Ali Senior Badminton Coach Punjab thanks to all the players / officials from all districts for their participation in this tournament on behalf of the organizing committee.
