GUJRANWALA – Sportsman spirit is required in all walks of life to nourish not only educational activities but also to make the society healthy and competitive.
It was stated by DCO Nabil Ahmad Awan while addressing first sports day of Gujranwala Medical College the other day. Principal Dr Atiya Mubarak, EDO Health Dr Nisar Ahmad Cheema and others also participated in the inaugural ceremony.
The DCO said, “Medical education is the most hectic and the students should come forward to maintain their physical fitness along with routine daily mental exercise.” He praised the faculty and students of the GMC and said the culture, values and standards set by the pioneer batch of the college would be followed by the future batches. He also lauded an ideal educational and sporting atmosphere in the campus.
