The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA’s) anti-gas and electricity theft team raided a steel mill in I-9 sector of the federal capital on Sunday and unearthed gas theft of millions of rupees.
According to the FIA officials, a case has been registered against the owner and manager of the mill.
The mill had laid a gas pipeline under the concrete floor to steal gas in large quantities.
“People should inform us about anyone they know who is involved in gas or electricity theft,” said FIA officials.
