The Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC) and the world over are observing the Indian Independence Day today (Thursday) as Black Day.
According to media reports, APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq‚ veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader‚ Syed Ali Gilani and other pro-liberation leaders have said that India has no moral justification to observe its Independence Day in Jammu and Kashmir as it has usurped all fundamental rights of the Kashmiri people.
On the other hand‚ the entire occupied territory has been turned into a military garrison ahead of the Indian Independence Day.
