The Gomal University Police foiled a terrorism bid on Wednesday and recovered 8 kg suicide jacket, two rocket launchers and four mortar rocket launcher near Arrha Road.
On receiving secret information regarding suspicious luggage at Arrha Road in the jurisdiction of Gomal University police station, police and incharge bomb squad reached the site. During search, they recovered 8 kg suicide jacket, two rocket launcher and four-bomb rocket launcher. Later, the bomb squad defused the bomb.
It is believed that terrorists had fled the scene leaving behind all the terror equipment after attacking district central jail on July 29.
