The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday issued notices to the minister and secretary information in the case of YouTube reopening and asked them to appear before the court.
During hearing of the case, the court was told court that the minister for information had gone to Suadi Arabia to perform Umrah, so she was unable to appear before the court.
Advocate Azhar Siddiq argued that already five pleas were pending with different courts regarding closure of YouTube, so he should be also allowed to become a petitioner in the case. The court accepted his plea and adjourned the hearing for an indefinite period.
