The Deputy Commissioner (DC) (Revenue) Amer Ali Ahmed on Friday reviewed a meeting regarding the performance of the Revenue Department.
Addressing the meeting he told the District Collector Farasat Ali Khan that no lapse regarding complaints against revenue staff would be tolerated. Assistant Commissioner (AC) (Secretariat) and Assistant Commissioner (Rural) were also present.
The District Collector informed that four patwaris have been suspended and and enquiry has been launched after receiving public complaints against them, while another four Ashfaq Ahmed, Karam Ullah, Manzoor Hussain and Abid Hassan are facing departmental enquiries.
Fees schedule and telephone numbers of Assistant Commissioners has been displayed on the notice board outside the offices of patwaris in order to address the grievances of the applicants.
The DC directed the representatives of EGD and AOS to complete the computerisation process off property record within the stipulated time period.
Furthermore, he warned that action would be taken against officials on receipt of public complaints.
