Newly-appointed Senior Superintendent of Police Islamabad (Operations) Muhammad Rizwan assumed charge of his office on Tuesday.
He has replaced Yaseen Farooq and had already served as DPO Jhang, DPO Sargodha, CPO Multan, AIG (Discipline) Lahore and SSP (Operations) Lahore.
Muhammad Rizwan, BPS-19 officer is considered to be a capable officer of the police department and his appointment as SSP Islamabad will help in ensuring further effective policing in the federal capital.
