After debuting in a racy music video for her latest single “We Can’t Stop” earlier this summer and baring her backside in the pages of Maxim, the pop star is stripping down for Marc Jacobs’ charity T-shirt campaign, posing in nothing but her birthday suit and urging others to “Protect the skin you’re in.” “@Miley Cyrus we love it, thanks so much for getting naked for charity!” Marc Jacobs Intl tweeted on Friday morning after Cyrus posted images of the tee on her personal account. Cyrus joins an impressive roster of names to have bared it all for the campaign, which benefits the New York University Skin Cancer Institute. Other bold-faced names that have participated include Naomi Campbell, Victoria Beckham, Dita Von Teese and Rufus Wainwright. “I think she’s beautiful,” said Jacobs’ business partner Robert Duffy in an interview with WWD. “She is talented in so many mediums from music to film. She really has a very good, solid head on her shoulders. I adore her.” The $35 black-and-white printed tops are available now at nine Marc Jacobs boutiques across the U.S. European Marc Jacobs boutiques will begin carrying the shirts next month. It’s a far cry from Cyrus’ long-gone, squeaky-clean Disney days. Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter earlier this summer, Cyrus’ manager Larry Rudolph said that her career evolution is “organic” and “healthy.”
