Independent Member National Assembly Jamshed Dasti will support Pakistan the Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) presidential candidate Mamnoon Hussain in the presidential elections as a result of an understanding between Dasti and the PML-N.
In return, the PML-N will provide a clear win for Jamshed Dasti’s brother in NA-177 by-elections by withdrawing its candidate from the constituency. Previously, Jamshed Dasti had also voted for Nawaz Sharif as a candidate for prime minister.
The PML-N contacted Dasti when it made attempts to make independent candidates a part of the government after the general elections. The MNA stated he would support the PML-N for all its positive decisions, but would not support anything going against the people.
