Rawalpindi Police arrested 8 outlaws including three suspected dacoits and seized 1,360 grams of charras, 4 kilogrammes of heroin, 9 bottles of liquor, six pistols 30 bore with 26 rounds and one rifle 12 bore from their possession.
According to a police spokesman, Inspector Waris Khan arrested Shaheen Bibi upon recovery of 215 grams of charras from her possession. Westridge Police arrested Danish Shah and recovered 1,015 grams of charras from him. Taxila Police netted Riaz for possession 4 kilogrammes of heroin whereas Gunjmandi Police apprehended Ansar and recovered 6 bottles of liquor from his possession. Meanwhile, Murree Police nabbed Kareem with possession of 3 liquor bottles along with a few others for carrying illegal weapons and drugs.
Race Course Police, acting on a tip-off conducted a raid at Allama Iqbal Colony and arrested three suspected dacoits namely Farooq Younas, Zulqarnain and Waseem and recovered three pistols 30 bore with 11 rounds.
