THE tiny Prince of Cambridge made his first public appearance on Tuesday as his delighted parents left hospital.

A beaming Prince William and his proud wife Kate proudly presented their new son to the world as crowds rejoiced throughout the country.

Standing outside St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, the first-time parents smiled and waved to the waiting photographers.

The baby is third in line to the throne so the recent change to the law of succession will have no effect until the new prince has his own children.

On Tuesday morning, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge thanked the hospital staff who delivered their baby, describing the care they received as “tremendous”.

Last night, 31-year-old William told of their joy and said: “We could not be happier.”

They expressed their gratitude to the medical team at the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in London after their son was born at the unit at 4.24pm on Monday, weighing 8lb 6oz.

  1. What makes you think anyone in Pakistan gives a rat's — about this news. Are you forgetting that we were slaves to their great grandmother(THE QUEEN).Remember the term DARKIE ?

  2. I fully agree with renowned journalist Talat Hussain, who said yesterday that bigger section of our electronic media is celebrating the birth as if Pakistan is "SUSRAL" of William and these anchorpersons have become first-time "MAMOON".
