Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates on Friday held a 25-minute teleconference with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and sought his support for the anti-polio campaign in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where Khan’s party is in power. According to details, Khan assured Gates of his support in promoting polio vaccination in the province. They also discussed other matters of mutual interest during the teleconference. Gates has earlier spoken to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for his support to Bill and Melinda gates Foundation’s efforts against polio in Pakistan.
