Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Qaim Ali Shah on Tuesday approved a summary to deploy Rangers’ personnel to stop water theft and misuse of irrigation water in Interior Sindh.
The summary was forwarded by Additional Secretary of the Irrigation Department to ensure impartial distribution of canal water and prevent water thefts in Interior Sindh.
The Rangers’ personnel would be deployed to take necessary remedial measures to counter water theft.
